Seven property transfers recorded in Deerfield between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, but only one, 54 Sawmill Plain Road at $490,400, has a sale price on file so far. The other six, including two transfers each on Stillwater Road and North Main Street, show price not yet available, a normal lag in registry data rather than any withholding by buyers or sellers. Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. or a bank appears as a party in a majority of the recorded transfers. With price data limited to one sale, the period's overall market tone cannot be assessed from this data set.
