Deerfield Deeds Show Wide Price Gaps as Most Sales Go Undisclosed
Deerfield recorded 10 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 5, but only four listed a sale price, ranging from $12,000 to $206,000 with a median of $107,500. The top recorded sale was 52 Steam Mill Rd at $206,000, transferred from Jason M. and Jaime E. Billings to Freedom Credit Union. Greenfield Road and Crestview Drive each saw two transfers. Several deeds involved financial institutions or trust and estate entities. With six of 10 prices undisclosed, the available data offers only a partial picture of the period's market activity.
