Deerfield Panel Names Dwight to RFP Review Committee
Other Committee · Meeting of July 29, 2026
Deerfield senior housing panel taps Dwight for developer RFP review. The Ad Hoc Senior Housing Committee voted 3-0 to send member Lili Dwight to a new committee reviewing RDI's response to the town's senior housing RFP, meeting Wednesday with the proposer. Resident Holly Linkowski pressed for the chief of South County EMS to join the safety review and cited accessibility "too narrow" for wheelchair users at RDI's comparable Sunderland project.
Member Carolyn Ness said a Franklin Regional Council of Governments farmland-mapping grant is ready to file ahead of a September 23 meeting, tied to a stated 1 percent senior-housing vacancy rate in Franklin County. A separate RFP to remove existing town buildings remains under advisement with the Select Board.
