Deerfield senior housing panel redoes minutes after posting lapse, targets March consultant contract. The Ad Hoc Senior Housing Committee, with members Kathy Sylvester, Carolyn Ness and Pam Predmore, voted 4-0 to re-approve January 7 minutes and 3-0 to re-approve January 14 minutes after discovering a prior meeting had not been posted publicly. A member identified as Lili Dwight said she asked town staff to "set a deadline of our next meeting" for a consultant's statement of work, with a signed contract targeted for "the first week in March." No response has come from state contact Christine Madore on the committee's pending request for proposals.
A Brownfields grant site review is on hold until spring because frozen ground blocks environmental testing. The committee is also recruiting residents, including Holly Lenkowski and Charlene Galinski, to join Conway School of Landscape Design housing conversations beginning next Tuesday at Town Hall, after a separate town committee's meeting was disrupted by Zoom intruders the week before.
