Deerfield Zoning Board hears housing analysis identifying affordability as key concern. Chair David Potter and member Elaine Cournoyer heard the presentation of "At Home in Deerfield: Zoning Potential & Housing Analysis," conducted by Conway School authors Annika Lackner, James Riley, and Celine Voyard. The study surveyed 107 residents and identified affordability as the top concern at 80 percent, along with zoning constraints including minimum lot sizes, frontage requirements, and septic system regulations.
Deerfield has applied for Housing Choice Community designation, which could provide grant opportunities.
