Tri-Town Beach Commission approves $61,751 FY2027 budget

DEERFIELD — Tri-Town Beach Commission approves $61,751 budget for 2027 season. Chair Patriciaann Telega, Co-Clerk Ken Cuddeback, and member Marc Bussiere voted unanimously to recommend the budget, which funds an 85-day season from Memorial Day to Labor Day with three lifeguards on duty. Deerfield's share is $39,078 and Whately's is $11,673, a 3.3 percent increase.
The new budget includes a $2,500 commissioner stipend for daily beach oversight during the season.
