DEERFIELD — Tri-Town Beach Commission approves commissioner stipend and hires 14 lifeguards for summer season. Chair Patriciaann M. Telega (recused from the stipend vote) and Co-Clerk Ken Cuddeback voted unanimously with member Annette Pfannebecker to approve a $2,500 annual commissioner stipend beginning July 1, 2026, paid in two equal installments.

The commission also unanimously approved hiring 14 certified lifeguards, including Head Lifeguard, Head Swim Instructor, and Swim Instructor positions, for seven-day beach operations through Labor Day.
