South County EMS screening committee elects Paciorek as chair

DEERFIELD — South County EMS Chief Screening Committee elects leadership ahead of chief interviews. The committee, composed of Deerfield Police Chief John Paciorek, Jr., Whately Fire Chief J.P. Kennedy, and Sunderland Police Chief Erik Demetropoulos, unanimously elected Paciorek as chair and Kennedy as vice chair by a vote of 3-0-0 each.
All three committee members then voted unanimously to enter executive session to interview applicants for the EMS chief position, with the next public meeting scheduled for May 6, 2026.
