South County EMS board recommends Drumgool for chief

DEERFIELD — South County EMS Board of Oversight recommends Drumgool for the chief position. BOO Chair Tom Fydenkevez and board members voted 4-0-1 to recommend that the Deerfield Selectboard enter into contract negotiations with Tim Drumgool for the position of Chief of South County EMS, following finalist interviews with Drumgool and J. Dominic Singh.
Board members cited Drumgool's familiarity with the department, focus on patient care over administrative concerns, and understanding of work-life balance for emergency services personnel as reasons for the vote.
