Deerfield's Ad Hoc Senior Housing Committee discussed environmental assessment and potential development of church properties June 10. A brownfields report on the church and rectory found asbestos and oil tanks, with abatement costs estimated between 210,000 dollars and 280,000 dollars, according to committee presenter Alex Galloway.
