Deerfield Selectboard tabled vote on withdrawal from the intermunicipal Senior Center agreement. Public comment from six residents urged the board to maintain collaboration among Deerfield, Sunderland, and Whately. The board will spend the coming year studying relocation options, including potential use of 8 Conway Street in South Deerfield, as the current lease at 22 Amherst Road in Sunderland expires in May 2027.
Members unanimously approved the annual appointment slate of officers and public body members effective July 1, 2026.
