Personnel Board approves Performance Management Program policy
Personnel Board · Meeting of May 18, 2026
DEERFIELD — Personnel Board unanimously approves new Performance Management Program and recommends it to Selectboard. Town Administrator Christopher Dunne presented the draft program, which the board approved unanimously and recommended for Selectboard adoption. The board reached consensus to remove matron duties from the Police Staff Assistant position due to different skill requirements and gender-related concerns.
The town will update the Town Planner job title from "Planning and Economic Development Coordinator" to "Town Planner" following the June 12 departure of Alex Galloway, and the board received updates on ongoing recruitments for the South County EMS Chief, Principal Assessor, and Assistant Town Clerk positions.
