The Franklin County Registry of Deeds recorded eight transactions involving Deerfield properties in October, including one nominal-consideration transfer to Eversource Energy and NSTAR Electric that was not a market sale. Of the seven remaining transfers, only one, 38 Steam Mill Road, had posted a sale price by month's end: $100,000, with Greenfield Savings Bank as buyer and Jillian S. and Christopher M. Mason as sellers, recorded Oct. 7. The other six transfers, on Plain Road West, Mill Village Road, North Main Street, Stage Road, Lee Road and River Road, show price not yet available. With pricing data still largely pending, October's market tone cannot be clearly characterized from the available figures.
