Deerfield Historical Commission unanimously backs cemetery historic designation. Chair Ben Bensen's cemetery declaration to designate all burial grounds in Deerfield as historic won unanimous approval for submission to the Selectboard and Community Preservation Committee. The commission also refocused its Form B research to concentrate on North Main Street properties from the Town Common to the Monument, with Member Jason Clarke drafting applications for review.
Members Henrietta Kocot, Bonita Conlon, and Jennie McAvoy will search commission records for previous submissions.
