Chair David Gilbert-Keith will push Deerfield Elementary School and Frontier Regional School to adopt zero-emission vehicle-first policies, a requirement for Climate Leader certification. The Deerfield Public Library solar project has Selectboard-approved grant funding and a submitted building permit, while the wastewater treatment plant project has a PV Squared cost estimate of roughly $170,000 for a 44-kilowatt array and projected $8,000 in annual savings.
