Deerfield senior housing committee approves FRCOG contract and targets February 27 state Housing Choice Designation deadline. The Ad Hoc Senior Housing Committee unanimously approved a contract with the Franklin Regional Council of Governments during its January 28 meeting. Committee Chair Lili Dwight expressed concerns about the project timeline, particularly regarding a FRCOG site visit initially scheduled for March 5; the committee aims to move the visit to the third week of March.
The committee is also pursuing the state's new Rural and Small Town Housing Choice Designation, with an application deadline of February 27, and is working with Conway School of Design students to gather data for the application.
