Deerfield selectboard chair elected to lead beach committee

DEERFIELD — Tri Town Beach Commission Joint Appointing Committee reorganizes leadership. The committee, consisting of selectboard chairs Trevor McDaniel of Deerfield and Joyce Palmer-Fortune of Whately, elected McDaniel as chair for fiscal 2026 on a 2-0 vote. The panel also voted 2-0 to ratify past appointments to the Tri Town Beach Commission in accordance with M.G.L.
Chapter 40, Section 12B. The next regular meeting is scheduled for June 2026.
