Deerfield development board votes to hire lawyer for sewer infrastructure. The Deerfield Economic Development and Industrial Corporation unanimously approved retention of an attorney to address potential activity involving the Whately Road and sewer connection request. Board Chair John P.

Paciorek reported the town's $1 million Elm Street project should begin this year, and the planning office expects completion of the Whately and Deerfield Industrial Park study by the end of April. Members Robert Decker, III and Frank Moro reviewed the proposed Park Street and commons redesign, which will include a temporary blockage to test the design.
