Conservation Commission approves school parking lot repaving plan

Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 12, 2026

Deerfield Conservation Commission unanimously approved a parking lot repaving project for Frontier Regional School District at 113 North Main Street. The 3-0-0 vote endorsed a project that includes a stormwater plan designed to reduce peak flows and improve water quality before re-entry to Bloody Brook, plus a scour pad, an outflow cleanout, and a daily sweeping requirement during milling operations. Commission Chair Peter Law acknowledged the sweeping requirement addresses the board's concerns.

The approval carries standard Deerfield Order of Conditions.
