Conservation Commission approves MassDOT intersection improvements at Mill Village

Deerfield Conservation approves MassDOT intersection work and timber harvest. The Commission voted unanimously to accept a Notice of Intent for MassDOT's intersection improvements at the Mill Village Rotary and Routes 5/10, imposing a barrier requirement and requiring biennial storm water basin maintenance reports. Members also voted 5-0 to approve a timber harvest and brush management project at 323 Conway Road pending submission of herbicide information and licensed applicator documentation.
The commission approved a Request for Certification of Completion for work at 15 Captain Lathrop Drive after site confirmation by Conservation Agent Tim Eve-Cowles.
