DEERFIELD — Conservation Commission approves 27-year-pending certificate. The board voted unanimously on January 22 to recommend approval of RCOC 281 Greenfield Road, NOI 142-0123, known as the Magic Wings project, which began in 1999 but was never issued a Certificate of Compliance. Chair Peter Law and Conservation Agent Tim Eve-Cowles conducted a site visit January 9, 2026, and found the detention basin met the initial requirements.
In other action, the commission voted unanimously to approve a support letter for a 1.7-mile walking-loop grant proposal at Mt. Sugarloaf Reservation and continued a Frontier Regional School District parking-lot repaving hearing to February 12.
