Committee backs Conservation Fund to protect farmland

DEERFIELD — Community Preservation Committee unanimously approves Conservation Fund CPC application to protect farmland and natural resources. The Committee approved the application following unanimous approval of two supporting grant award agreements finalized by committee members, Town Counsel, and Planning staff to ensure financial integrity and community benefit protection. The agreements cover the 1821 Meeting House project and Conservation Fund monies.

The Committee also unanimously recommended Town Meeting approval of the Mill River Cemetery application pending formal historic designation from the Deerfield Historical Commission.
