DEERFIELD — Connecting Community Initiative Committee received updates on major town projects in progress. The school playground finished on time and under budget, while the library building encountered a water leak into the children's room requiring contractor attention. The Elm Street Complete Streets project advanced with RDI as selected developer.
The library has raised $1.68 million; Open Space and Recreation will reapply for a rejected Mass Trails grant.
