Deerfield Board of Assessors approves 2026 motor vehicle excise levy amid staffing transition. Board members Skip Sobieski and Frank Leone, with Charles Shattuck absent, unanimously approved the excise commitment and reviewed the Principal Assessor job description with Assistant Town Administrator Greg Snedeker. The Administrative Assistant's resignation, effective July 1, 2026, will create a staffing vacancy in the assessor's office.
Motor vehicle abatement requests were processed in executive session.
