Board approves easements for Stillwater Bridge replacement

DEERFIELD — Selectboard approves bridge easements and EMS chief. The board unanimously accepted temporary construction easements for the Stillwater Bridge replacement on Upper Road, with Chair Blake Gilmore authorized to execute all necessary documents as MassDOT moves the project to bidding. Members also unanimously approved an employment agreement with Timothy Drumgool as Chief of South County EMS effective July 6, appointed Zach Battastoni as interim chief through July 6, and authorized collection of 973 sewer bills totaling $1,173,946.97 for fiscal 2026-2.
The board accepted resignations from Matt Russo of the EMS Board of Oversight and Mark T. Brennan, Jr., from three town committees, effective June 30.
