Deerfield assessors approve 2 percent increase for preliminary 2027 property tax bills. Board members Skip Sobieski and Frank Leone voted 2 to 0 to apply the increase to 2026 bills as the baseline for 2027 preliminary billing. The board also directed Clerk Karen Menard to address assessment timing questions at Map 174 Lot 24 regarding 2025 and 2026.
Motor vehicle excise abatements were approved in an executive session.
