Deerfield Senior Housing Committee receives environmental grant and advances housing-bylaw modernization project. The Ad Hoc Senior Housing Committee received a Brown Field Environmental Assessment Grant with Alex Galloway reporting the grant will fund survey, hazardous materials assessment, and abatement estimate over the coming months. Chair Lili Dwight, member Pam Predmore, and Kathy Sylvester volunteered to oversee a pro bono bylaw-review project with Conway Landscape School of Design students aimed at supporting the town's pursuit of state "Housing Community of Choice" certification, which can offer zoning flexibility and funding eligibility.
