1888 Building Advisory Committee · Meeting of April 10, 2026
DEERFIELD — The 1888 Building Advisory Committee approved prior minutes and updated construction progress on the municipal building project. The addition is fully framed with most sheetrock complete, though fire protection and IT cabling delays have affected ceiling installation, with plans to meet on site with WJ Mountford and Rand Fire Protection to resolve issues. Town Administrator Christopher Dunne confirmed PV Squared as the solar contractor and reported that IT cabling costs came in around $50,000, with security enhancements--FOBS system at $22,000 and external cameras at $10,000--pending recommendations from Chief Paciorek.
Substantial completion is targeted for October or November 2026, with move-in estimated for January 2027.
